We finally have the keys to our first home in Observatory — here is the list, if you would like one.

Our Registry

Your being there is the real gift. But a few people asked, so here is a short list — anything on it will be used every week, not saved for good.

Everyday plates

A set of six. The ones we will actually eat off, not the ones we hide.

Serving bowls

For the Sunday lunches we keep promising everyone.

Mugs for two

Ayanda has broken three this year. We are not proud of it.

A vase or two

There is a window that is asking for flowers.

Good bed linen

The one thing everybody says is worth spending on.

Coffee, properly

Kabelo is particular about this. We are working on him.

Where should I have it delivered?

Straight to us is easiest — the address is on your invitation. If you would rather bring it on the day, that is just as welcome.

Do I have to buy from the link?

Not at all. The links are only there to show what we had in mind. Anything similar is perfect.

Can a few of us go in together?

Please do, especially on the bigger items. Send us a message and we will mark it off the list.

What if something is already taken?

We update the list as things arrive. If two of the same turn up, no harm done — we will find a home for both.

We would rather give something else.

Honestly, that is lovely too. A contribution towards the garden, or something you have made, means just as much.
