How we work

From the first call to the last song

  • The first conversation

    Week one

    Over coffee

    The first conversation

Coffee and a notebook: the date, the guest list, the budget and what you would like people to remember.

  • The design

    Months before

    In the studio

    The design

A mood board, a colour story and a floor plan โ€” signed off by you before a single supplier is booked.

  • The set-up

    The week of

    At the venue

    The set-up

Suppliers confirmed twice, the run sheet shared, and the room dressed the afternoon before.

  • The day itself

    On the day

    On the floor

    The day itself

We run the timeline, the suppliers and the surprises. You host, and dance.

Good to know

Before you book us

The questions people usually ask on the first call.

How far ahead should we book?

Nine to twelve months for a wedding, six to eight weeks for most corporate functions. Ask anyway โ€” we sometimes have a Friday free sooner.

Does your fee include the venue and catering?

No. Our fee is for planning. Every supplier cost sits on a shared budget sheet, so you always know where the money is going.

Can we use our own suppliers?

Of course. We work happily with yours, or recommend from people we have worked with for years.

What about load-shedding?

For venues without backup power we book a generator or inverter as part of the plan, and test it the day before.

Do you travel?

Pretoria, Johannesburg and the Magaliesberg are included. Further afield, travel and accommodation are added at cost.

How does payment work?

Thirty percent secures your date. The rest is split into two payments, the last due a month before the event.
